It is a well known fact that lighter colours can make smaller spaces seem bigger. It is thus recommended if you own one such small place, to paint hallways and bathrooms in white or beige. This is also true for bedrooms – if you get out of your bed and your feet land in the hallway, it’s not necessary to poke others in the eye with the fact.
